Hey Everyone!
I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve our neighbors across the ocean in Haiti. Even though the earthquake was half a year ago, the need in Port Au Prince is still desperate. I will be serving the good people at For His Glory Outreach Orphanage who have experienced a sharp 80% increase in the children they work with.
I will be in Haiti from July 25-31 with a team primarily consisting of people related to the non-profit The Oak Project. We are planning to help in various ways, from the basics of helping update rosters with new pictures of the orphans so they can get adopted, to mopping floors and helping to serve the nannies who care for the children, as well as developing long-term plans on how to offer continued support and casting a vision for the future.
It is my personal desire to serve these people and maybe even learn a little more about my calling that the Lord has instilled in me.
I relish your prayers and any amount of financial support you can muster. Supporting and loving the orphan is close to God's heart, and my hope is that it is close to yours as well. Please know that any overflow of funds will go directly to this trip or to the resources and supplies we are bringing to the For His Glory Outreach Orphanage.
